The Icon Map custom visual for Power BI does not collect or store you information. The longitude and latitude information you provide are used to create a request for specific map tiles from the map tile providers.
The longitude and latitudes, or the data size values are not sent to the map providers.
All requests for map tiles are over HTTPS.
